Itβs lovely to meet you!
Iβm Jenny!
Minneapolis, Minnesota wedding and portrait photographer
Who I am
When Iβm not home with my cats and ever-growing collections of houseplants and candles, you can find me behind a camera, seeking beauty and telling honest stories wherever I go.
If you feel deeply, romanticize your life, or find yourself enthralled by the way light dances through the trees, we already have quite a bit in common.
What I do
Iβve been shooting weddings for five years and portraits for ten, but I always wanted to be a photographer. Before I even got my first camera, I had mentioned it in a fifth grade paper about my career hopes and dreams. In middle school, I obsessively followed professional photographersβ blogs and social media, learning by osmosis. My camera and I were inseparable on trips. As the years went by, I fell deeper in love with the craft and taught myself editing, put together shoots for my friends, and found every chance to try something new and creative.
Throughout my life, Iβve had many hobbies come in and out the door: calligraphy, theatre, jewelry making, and embroidery, just to name a fewβbut photography has always had a hold on me. Thereβs something about this art that pulls me in day after day. To look through a box of mirrors and glass and electronics to find the light, the touch, the movement, the emotionβand to freeze it all with a careful and confident click of a buttonβis an eternally simple and deceptively complex feat that humbles and exhilarates me.
